Rule 47
Prize Arrangements

(1) If someone attempts or commits to carry out stolen export or stolen import of any goods, the person who is about to carry out such stolen export or stolen import shall be given a warrant or arrested, if it is proved that such goods have been or is about to be stolen, exported or stolen imported goods, such goods shall be sold by auction and obtained. After the final edge of the case from the amount received, the award will be given as follows:-
(a) Fifteen per cent, to the person who gives the money for smuggling or smuggling (b) Thirty percent for the submission of goods including people for stolen export or stolen import, …………
(c) Twenty percent for the person who submits only the goods to be smuggled out or smuggled in.
(2) According to this rule, when awarding Suraki Wapat to an employee, a copy of his identity card shall be compulsorily kept along with the compensation paid by the Customs Office. If the recipient of the Suraki Wapat award is not an employee but another person, a copy of the identity proof must be kept along with the payment.
(3) According to sub-rule (1), if there is more than one person to receive the award, the amount to be awarded as per this regulation shall be given by Damasahi.
(4) Notwithstanding anything else contained in these regulations, prizes shall not be awarded to the prize obtained in contravention of these regulations. Explanation: For the purposes of this rule, "amount received by selling goods at auction" means the auction price of the goods or the sale price of the goods excluding other tax charges etc. which are added to the auction price as per the prevailing law.
(5) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), in cases relating to gold, silver or jewels, ten percent of the amount received from the auction or sale of such goods shall be ten per cent of the amount received from the auction or sale of such goods when awarding a reward to a person who gives evidence in a case relating to gold, silver or jewelery and submits such goods with or without humans. .... amount will be awarded.
